In this policy, “we” means that company and “you” means the person visiting this website or submitting an inquiry through it.
2. What we collect
We collect only what you type into the inquiry form on our Contact page: your name, your company, your email address, the process step you are asking about, the tool or substrate you currently use, an indicative quantity, and your message.
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect payment details, because this website does not take orders or payments.
Those seven fields are the whole of what this website collects from you. We do not collect special categories of personal data — data revealing health, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, sex life or sexual orientation, and genetic or biometric data — and we ask that you do not send us any.
This website is directed at businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
No analytics, advertising or tracking code runs on this site.
Cookies are limited to strictly necessary cookies set by the website platform and the inquiry form.
3. Why we collect it
We use your details for two purposes only: to answer the inquiry you have sent, and to prepare a specification and a quotation for you. We may then correspond with you about that inquiry.
We do not use your details for automated decision-making, and we do not build profiles of you.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to a business inquiry — answering the question you send us, and preparing a specification and a quotation for you. We do not operate a consent mechanism for the inquiry form, because your details are used only to reply to you.
4. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list without telling you.
We pass your data to a third party only where it is necessary to run this website and to answer your inquiry. There are two such recipients:
- the email service that delivers your inquiry to us, and our reply to you;
- the hosting provider that stores this website and the submissions sent through its form.
Each of them receives only what it needs to carry out that task.
5. Where your data is processed
We are established in China. Data submitted through this website is transferred to China and processed there.
Form submissions are stored on a server in China (Alibaba Cloud) and notification emails are sent via our email provider (Tencent Enterprise Mail).
6. How long we keep it
We keep your inquiry data for 24 months from the last contact between us about that inquiry, and then delete it. The same period applies whether or not the inquiry turns into an order.
If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it. A deletion request is not subject to the 24-month period, and we do not wait for that period to expire before acting on it.
Some records we hold are kept longer than 24 months because the law requires it. Customs records are kept for at least three years from the date the goods are released; export filing records and general tax records for ten years; and accounting vouchers for thirty years. Where a record falls into one of these categories, we keep it for the period the law requires and then delete it.
We keep data no longer than is needed for the purposes set out above, and no longer than the periods stated here.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict, or to stop, processing it;
- receive it in a portable, machine-readable format;
- object to processing; and
- withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting processing that happened before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these rights, email yabao@polirite.com. We will ask you to identify yourself, so that we release data only to the person it belongs to. We respond to access and deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them.
You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your own country if you believe we have mishandled your data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version on this page is the current one, and the date below is the date it took effect.
